About us →“… I realized the talent was always here. What was missing was the infrastructure to connect us. Jaemi is that infrastructure.” Youri Kim, Artistic Director
DC Theater Arts, March 2026
To create bold, contemporary theater centered on AAPI stories, foster emerging artists, and build a thriving community of audiences and collaborators across cultures.
We envision performance as a shared civic space where the AAPI diaspora can create, belong, and be seen on new terms.
An evening of performance, community, and celebration to power our mission. Cabaret proceeds fund the inaugural Asian Theater Festival, artist stipends at fair compensation, and reserves toward a full production.
